Director
Born and raised in Exeter, Nathan's childhood in Redhills with his mother and sister revealed his early knack for communication, earning him the reputation of having the 'gift of the gab.' Embarking on his estate agency career at the age of 21 in 2013, Nathan dedicated over a decade to climbing the professional ladder, ultimately departing the corporate world as a successful senior branch manager.
In response to the ever-evolving estate agency sector, Nathan keenly recognized a distinct market gap, inspiring the creation of Butt Estates. Fuelled by his vision to introduce a family-run business with a contemporary edge, Nathan aims to infuse modernity into the traditional estate agency model. This reflects his unwavering commitment to innovation and a client-centric approach.
Nathan has made his home in the charming town of Topsham, with is partner Emily, and their lively son, Jude. Beyond the rigors of his professional life, Nathan finds solace in his love for exquisite cuisine and unwavering support for Manchester United, rounding out a well-balanced and fulfilling life in the heart of Topsham.

Meet Emily, our Managing Director and part of the brains behind our operations and a seasoned professional in the world of property and finance. Based in the picturesque town of Topsham, Exeter, Emily brings over a decade of experience to the table — including seven years in the fast-paced Estate Agency world and the past four as a dedicated mortgage advisor.
Her deep understanding of the property market, paired with a sharp eye for detail and a client-first mindset, makes Emily a trusted guide for anyone navigating the home-buying journey. But Emily’s story doesn’t end at her desk — she’s also a proud mum to her son, Jude, who brings daily inspiration, laughter, and balance to life with her partner Nathan.
With both professional expertise and genuine care at the core of everything she does, Emily continues to make a lasting difference in the lives of her clients and her community..
Tia Butt
Sales Manager
Tia, based on the outskirts of Exeter, began her Estate Agency career aged 18, in 2015, working alongside cousin, Nathan for a corporate Agent in Exeter.
After a brief stint working in London, she returned to Devon to join Nathan at Butt Estates.
With nine years of experience in both sales and lettings, Tia loves every aspect of the job. Her extensive and diverse experience and passion, highlight a dedicated professional with a preference for rural life.
In addition to her professional expertise, Tia has a real passion for food, always eager to explore and try new places.
Amelia Evans
Senior Associate
Introducing Amelia, a seasoned estate agent with 5 years of experience, who grew up in charming Sidmouth, East Devon. She embraces countryside living and has had her pony Ted and her rescue dog Miney for 10 years, she also shares her new house with her partner, Lewis. Amelia's career took off at 19, advancing from negotiator to sales manager in a bustling corporate firm, where she worked along side Nathan and Emily. Now a passionate member of the Butt Estates Team, she brings abundant market knowledge and a sincere love for her job, eagerly anticipating the rewarding journey ahead.
Caroline Clarke

Caroline brings a wealth of estate agency expertise to our team, making her an invaluable asset. Known affectionately as the 'Queen of Offers' around the office, Caroline's dedication is evident in every aspect of her work. Beyond her professional role, she finds joy in exploring the outdoors with her cherished companion, Dillon, and maintaining an active lifestyle at the gym. Having called West Hill, East Devon, home for the past 18 years, Caroline is now embarking on an exciting journey of building her own eco-friendly residence.
Josh Shaw
Sales Associate
Josh has been working in estate agency for over five years, beginning his career in lettings before making the move into residential sales. Originally from Alphington, he has an excellent understanding of the local area and is passionate about helping buyers and sellers navigate their property journey. His enthusiasm, positive attitude and genuine commitment to delivering great service make him a valued member of the Butt Estates team. Outside of work, Josh enjoys keeping fit in the gym, spending time with friends and family, supporting Chelsea FC, and playing sports, particularly padel and golf.
George Church
Sales Associate
Born and raised in Exeter, George has always felt a strong connection to the city - from watching matches at St James Park to kicking a ball around in the local parks, football has been at the heart of his journey. His passion has driven him to constantly improve and push, both on and off the pitch. He is always eager to learn, especially those who’ve mastered their craft. Being part of such an established and respected team is something he feels incredibly proud of and Is excited to keep growing alongside them.
Jude Butt
Office Apprentice
Jude Butt – The reason behind Butt Estates.. He is the youngest member of the team and the most adorable.
Jude likes to talk on the phone and has a obsession with cars and football. You would normally find Jude hanging around Topsham drinking baby chino’s.
